Some may eagerly await the earliest bluebirds, or search diligently for the sunny blossoms of daffodils... but... the true herald of an Ohio spring: high-pitched whistles in the warm evening air... spring peepers -- tiny tree frogs with loud, piercing voices -- have emerged from their long winter sleep.
